ND Hydrator is a scientifically formulated electrolyte replacement blend designed to replenish vitamins and minerals lost through perspiration associated with physical activity. Combining carbohydrates to replace lost energy with our proprietary electrolyte blend, ND Hydrator makes for a great tasting isotonic drink, hydrating you faster and more completely than with water alone.

What’s in ND Hydrator?

  • Carbohydrates – Providing an instant energy boost for improved performance.
  • Electrolytes – A combination of sodium and potassium to replace electrolytes lost through perspiration.
  • High grade colostrum to assist with digestion and gastrointestinal health
  • Magnesium – Assists in the prevention of muscular cramping following intense training.

Trouble Staying Hydrated During Training? Discover ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend)!

Experienced athletes will be able to tell you that not staying hydrated during training could put a serious damper on your muscle gain efforts. If you have been experiencing problems staying hydrated, or want to know why hydration is so important, this article is for you! Read on to discover more about our ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) and find out why hydration could help you reach your muscle gain goals.

What Is ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend)?

ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) is a unique formula created to replenish all the vitamins and minerals you lose during intensive training sessions. The loss of these vitamins and minerals is caused by perspiration when you work out, so you will lose valuable nutrients every time you hit the gym. Fortunately, ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) can keep your nutrients and hydration in check.

What Nutrients Can I Find in ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend)?

The first nutrients you will find in ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) are carbohydrates. These carbohydrates are needed to provide you with energy during intensive workouts, but also to improve your sports performance. So if you lack energy when you train, ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) can be a valuable ally.

ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) contains a series of useful electrolytes as well. To ensure these electrolytes replace the electrolytes you use during your training, Nutrients Direct uses a smart combination of sodium and potassium.

Nutrients Direct also uses a high grade colostrum to make sure athletes can easily digest this supplement during their workout. When you take a supplement before training, the last thing you need to experience is cramping or flatulence while you are working out. Thanks to the high grade colostrum in ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend), they will not be problems you will have to deal with.

Last but not least, our ND Hydrator (Electrolyte Blend) also contains a healthy amount of magnesium. Magnesium is a mineral that can prevent muscular cramping, a common problem amongst athletes who follow a rigorous training regime. Therefore, if muscle cramping has been a problem for you in the past, ND Hydrator may be able to reduce those symptoms.

Why Is Hydration So Important During Training?

No matter if you are an experienced athlete or a beginner working towards a healthier lifestyle, hydration is important for anyone who likes to exercise. Water is responsible for the regulation of your body’s temperature and lubricates the joints as well. In addition to that, hydration will also ensure nutrients are transported across the body, which will provide you with energy when you need it and keep you healthy in general.

What Are the Signs of Poor Hydration?

The symptoms experienced due to dehydration can vary in degree and severity. Also, the symptoms of a mild to moderate dehydration are going to be different from the symptoms you experience when you suffer from severe dehydration.

Athletes suffering from a mild to moderate case of dehydration will experience common symptoms that can be associated with other medical conditions. Common signs of dehydration during training include, but are not limited to: dry mouth, fatigue, dry skin, headache, constipation, dizziness, light-headedness, muscle cramps and infrequent toilet visits.

The symptoms of a serious case of dehydration can be quite different from the symptoms of a mild case. They are generally more severe as well and could endanger your life. If you believe you suffer from severe dehydration, please visit the emergency room or contact a doctor immediately.

Symptoms associated with a severe case of dehydration include, but are not limited to: extreme thirst, irritable mood, confusion, sunken eyes, dry skin without elasticity, low blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, hyperventilation, lack of tears, fever, little or no toilets visits, unconsciousness and hallucinations. Please note that not all of these symptoms need to be present to suffer from a severe case of dehydration.

How to Prevent Dehydration During Workouts?

In addition to using an electrolyte supplement, there are some things you can do to prevent dehydration during your workouts. The first thing to do is to ensure you have a sufficient amount of water on you when you go for a training session, even if that means you have to drag a big bottle of water along with you.

Secondly, it is important not only to drink water during your training session, but also before and after your training. When you are training, also try to drink a sufficient amount of water every fifteen minutes.

Athletes who intend to exercise for longer than one hour need to make sure they have a sports drink on them, or need to use an electrolyte supplement to replenish the nutrients you have lost during that workout.

When you are prone to dehydration during training, you may need to make some changes to your lifestyle. Try to avoid all alcohol, such as wine and beer, because these drinks may increase the chance of dehydration. Also avoid salt tablets at all cost, because most people get plenty of salt in their diet already. Instead, use an electrolyte supplement or a specific sports drink to get those valuable nutrients back and restore their balance.

What Other Supplements Could Enhance Training Results?

Athletes who are looking to increase their sports performance and muscle mass may benefit from one of our protein formulas. Our range of protein formulas includes popular supplements such as whey and casein, but also vegetable-based protein formulas such as rice, pea and soy protein supplements. To determine which protein formulas could benefit you, you can easily filter our protein formulas according to your fitness goal.

Before you choose an additional protein supplement, please consider that some supplements may require you to consume more water during training. If you are already struggling with dehydration problems, please consult your doctor or nutritionist before you add a supplement to your training program.
