Recipe: PROTEIN CAKE POPS

INGREDIENTS

40g ND Protein Powder 

1 tsp mixed spice

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1tsp cinnamon

1 cup dates

150g flaxseed

Zest of half an orange

3tbs almond butter

handful chopped almonds

cocoa, sesame seeds, chopped nuts, coconut etc for rolling

 

METHOD

 

1. Put all ingredients (except the cocoa) into a bowl and mix well until it comes together in a sticky mixture

 

2. Use your hands to roll the mixture into small lollipop sized balls

 

3. Roll these in cocoa powder, sesame seads, coconut, chopped nuts etc to coat them and then lay on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper

 

4. Use wooden sticks or half straws to push inside the middle of the balls to create your cake pops

 

5. Pop in the fridge for 30 minutes to firm up & enjoy!
